Adam Sandler and his wife, Jackie Sandler, have starred in a handful of films together over the years, and now, their kids want in on the (lights, camera) action!
The beloved actor's daughters, Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 16, are part of the Happy Gilmore 2 cast, and the entire project has become a family affair. Sandler recently told E!News that its a pleasure to work alongside his children, and that its a relief whenever they "do well" on set.
"Oh, my god, you're just relieved. Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent. It must be like when you're the parents of a baseball player and you're at the game and they get a hit. You just go, ‘Thank God.’ It’s just so much relief."
The star admitted that he avoids telling them how to act unless they ask for advice.
"Only if it lends that way, if they ask. But most of the time you’re just happy that they're feeling good."
This isn’t the first time the Just Go With It star has shared the screen with his family. Sadie and Sunny appeared alongside their parents in Hubie Halloween (2020) and You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023). Adam and Jackie, who tied the knot 22 years ago, have been a team on and off screen since Big Daddy in 1999.
Happy Gilmore 2 is slated for release on July 25!
