Dax Shepard is extremely proud of Kristen Bell for her Emmy nomination.
The actor took to Instagram to congratulate his partner on Tuesday (July 16), sharing a photo of Bell doing yoga outside in her socks (and only her socks).
"People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s. This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!" Shepard captioned the NSFW snap.
According to US Weekly, the actress was nominated for her very first Emmy award for Netflix's Nobody Wants This, only a few hours before the "Armchair Expert" podcast host invited the world into her "behind-the-scenes training."
This is certainly not the first time Shepard has publicly praised his wife for her role in the popular Netflix series, which sees Bell sharing a handful of intimate moments with her co-star and Gilmore Girls alum Adam Brody.
"My best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that," Dax joked about his wife and Brody's kissing scenes during a panel at 2024's New York Film Festival. Last October, he told Bell that she and Brody's on-screen chemistry was so good that even he was rooting for them to lock lips!
"Even I can acknowledge watching it, like, 'Whoa, that’s hot. My husband said the same thing. Like, watching the first episode, he was like, 'Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so badly.'"
Dax and Kristen have been married for 12 years and share children Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10.
